Welcome to my Skidoosh website...
My name is Marilyn Storey and I live with my adored  feline  family and my  husband in the small market town of Guisborough,  very close to the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors in the North East of England.
The Skidoosh prefix was registered with the GCCF some 30 years ago, and  in my early breeding days I bred and successfully exhibited Orientals and Siamese, including Oriental blues and lilacs, having several Champions and two Grand Champions one of which was the first ever Oriental blue Grand Champion female.
Nowadays I am a specialist hobby breeder of British Shorthair silver classic tabbies and silver spotties.  British SH silver tabbies are the most wonderful cats. They are  lovely natured and easy going felines, so loving and trusting.  I now no longer need to work, so I am fortunate enough to have plenty of time to devote myself to my hobby.  I love this breed, and I strive to breed the best silver tabbies that I can, with no effort or expense spared.

I do not breed many litters of silver kittens  a year,  but those  I do have are of the highest quality, and they are healthy, happy, well socialised, loving kittens which are occasionally available to caring, responsible, and preferably indoor homes where they will be as cherished and spoilt as they are here at home with me.  I consider having my kittens to be both a joy and a priviledge, and I expect the very best of homes for my babies.
Enquiries are always welcome and I will always do my best to spare the time to help and advise as best I can.  Please email me on   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call me on Tel :  01287 201982.

Amy's looks are very typical of the ' owly ' eyed, round faced pretty ' look ' of my queens, a look which I aim to achieve in my kittens from selective breeding.
I work with silver tabby and silver spotty cats of old established silver bloodlines, with the very best of silver pedigrees and have caring, responsible breeding ethics. My breeding cats are tested negative for FeLV, FIV, and  I strive to maintain zero titre status for Corona virus too within my household.
Most breeders and pet owners are aware of the diseases caused by the Feline Leukaemia and the Feline Immunodeficiency viruses, but many  people are not aware that the common  Feline Corona virus can be just as much a potential danger to our cats having the potential to cause Feline Infectious Peritonitis ( FIP )  if a particular infected cat or kitten is immuno compromised in some way and therefore more susceptible..  it is a very widespread virus particularly in multi cat establishments such as catteries and rescue shelters.  Here is an excellent link with useful information about FIP.. The superb framed shots above are of Skidoosh Precious Amy who was bred by myself.  Amy is the litter sister to my own queens Grace and Lily. The beautiful pictures are courtesy of my good friend Janice, Amy's new mum, who is a keen photographer, and the composing of artistic pictures is a hobby which she enjoys very much and excels at.  She's a member of the the Renderosity Digital Art Community, and here is a link to my friends Gallery which I'm sure you will find very interesting, there are many animal pics, and mainly of cats..
We have four adult breeding girls at the moment...
My most senior queen is my lovely Blossom ( Evawill Cushie Butterfield ) who is a very beautiful black silver tabby.  Blossom is half sister to my lovely Grand Champion Evawill Lily Lucette (now neutered)  Both are daughters of Grand Ch Evawill Diamond Lil.   Blossom is now neutered.
We have two of Blossom's silver tabby daughters who are sired by UK Grand Champion Adhirsh Sirhenry Humbug.  They are Skidoosh Lilli Marlene (1cc ) and  Skidoosh Grace Kelly ( my Grace and Lily ) who are beautiful young queens and who have already had some lovely kittens of their own.
Skidoosh Silver Snowdrop is a silver tabby daughter of my Grace, and one of her own little daughters from her very special first litter born in October 2009 will be staying here with us...( see Kittens page for pics..)
Lastly, and my only silver spotted queen, we have Skidoosh Ruby Tuesday who is yet another daughter of the wonderful UK Grand Champion Adhirsh Sirhenry Humbug.  My little Ruby is from the very last litter sired by Henry, who is now neutered and is enjoying a well earned retirement with his pipe and slippers and his neutered ex wives.
